Dr. Seema Nigam is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at D.B.S (PG) College, Kanpur since 2002. She has teaching experience of more than 22 years of UG and PG classes. She has actively participated in various national and international seminars, conferences, symposiums and workshops. Her research papers have been published in various peer reviewed journals. She has three books to her credit and has completed a minor research project approved by UGC. She believes to develop strong bond of communication with her students to solve not only academic issues but also extends psychological kinship and councelling to inculcate confidence and support to the students. Being a philanthropist, she indulges in various social welfare activities. She is passionate to make the environment ecofriendly and to economically use the earth's resources. She carries the vision to build soft skills and entrepreneurship among her students.
