Achievement

Dr. Gaurav Singh and Dr. Kaushlendra Tiwari completed their Ph.D. during service period. Three research scholar doing Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr Gaurav Singh. Praveen Kumar, Ajay Kumar and Deepak Kumar pursuing Ph.D. during their service period.

History of the Department

The department of Education was originally established in the Faculty of Art in the year 1959 at the time of establishment of the college. Since then the Department has not looked back and can boast of some outstanding achievements. Regarding the retirement of all the members of the department in the year 2017,the department of Education came under the Department of Self Financed Education. In January 2021 Praveen Singh, Kaushlendra Tiwari, Gaurav Singh and Ajay Kumar were selected by Higher Education service commission. In 2022 another Assistant professor Deepak Kumar was selected by commission. Presently Praveen Singh is working as a HOD. The department has conducted 3 year(Six semester) UG program according to NEP 2020. The department has, from time to time, identified thrust areas of several studies activities and conducted activities across disciplinary boundaries which includes issues such as, Contemporary issues of Education like peace, values, Human rights etc., Sociological and political dimensions of Education, Philosophical and psychological aspects of Education, Environment Education, Constitutional provision in Education, Inclusive Education, Continuous Education, Research, Data collection, Analysis etc.
