Mission Shakti

The Government of India launched “Mission Shakti” in October 2020 an integrated women empowerment programme for safety, security and empowerment of women.
Vision: Mission- Shakti is a visionary initiative with a clear objective to established a secure environment for women and empower them through comprehensive series of workshops aimed at the enhancing their knowledge and skills.
U.P. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on October 14, 2023 in Lucknow launched the 4th phase of Mission- Shakti focused on promoting women self reliance, safety and respect.
Uttar Pradesh planned for many events under Mission- Shakti about Widow pension scheme, Beti bachao – Beti padhao, Janani Suraksha Yojana, CM Kanya sumangala Yojana, CM Samuhik Vivah Yojana, and other schemes initiated by union and state Government.
