The DBS Eco Club organized a poster pasting event on the college campus to raise awareness about environmental conservation. The event, held on 16/10/2024, was a collaborative effort aimed at promoting sustainability and encouraging students to adopt eco-friendly practices. The initiative was taken under the able supervision of Dr. Archna Saxena, the faculty advisor of the Eco Club, and was graced by the presence of our chief guest, respected Shri Surendra Maithani Ji, and our esteemed principal, Prof. Anil Kumar Mishra. The Eco Club members actively participated in making this event a success. The event began with a short introductory speech by Dr. Archna Saxena, where she emphasized the need for environmental consciousness among students. She highlighted the harmful effects of pollution, deforestation, and waste mismanagement, urging students to take small yet impactful steps toward protecting the environment. Following this, the chief guest, Shri Surendra Maithani Ji, addressed the audience. In his inspiring speech, he congratulated the students for their enthusiasm and stressed the importance of youth involvement in environmental conservation efforts. He also commended the DBS Eco Club for taking the lead in organizing such initiatives on campus. Principal Prof. Anil Kumar Mishra also spoke at the event, expressing his full support for the Eco Club’s activities. He emphasized the role of education in promoting sustainability and encouraged students to actively participate in similar initiatives in the future. He highlighted that such events play a crucial role in shaping the mindset of young individuals toward creating a better, greener future. After the speeches, the Eco Club members, under the supervision of Dr. Archna Saxena, began pasting posters around the campus. The posters were designed to spread messages about environmental protection, including the importance of reducing plastic use, saving water, planting trees, and recycling. Each poster carried a strong and impactful message aimed at creating awareness among students, staff, and visitors to the campus. The event was a grand success, with the participation of enthusiastic students and faculty members.
