Oath taking ceremony of English Sahitya Parishad organized The oath taking ceremony of English Sahitya Parishad was organized with great enthusiasm on 25/09/2024, at DBS College, Govind Nagar. The main purpose of this event was to introduce the new members of the council and make them realize their responsibilities. The program started with the welcome speech by the host, in which all the guests and students were warmly welcomed. After this, the Principal of the college (Professor Anil Kumar Mishra) and the chief guest KK Mishra lit the lamp, along with which Saraswati Vandana was also presented. In his speech, he inspired the students to perform their duties with hard work and dedication. Head of English Department, HOD (Prof. Ranjana Shrivastava ji) and Prof. Rashmi Dubey, Prof. Seema Nigam, Prof. Saumyadeep Bhattacharya, Prof. Chandra Prakash Singh also guided the students in their address and encouraged their passion for literature. After this, the newly appointed President of the Council Neeru Bhadoria and her team (Mahi, Vartika Anshika) expressed their views. Program Manager President (Arjit Singh) in his address mentioned the upcoming goals and plans of the council, which will promote the literary development of the college. The Secretary and his team also shared their objectives among the students and pledged to organize various programs successfully with the cooperation of the team. Media Manager (Sundaram) and his team (Poornima, Nandini) also expressed their views and told how they will promote the works of the council. After this, the ID distribution ceremony took place, where the members of the council were handed over their identity cards. The program concluded with the National Anthem, in which everyone united and respected the National Anthem. This program infused new enthusiasm and inspiration in the students and laid the foundation for a bright future of the English Literature Council.
