National Service Scheme (NSS)

The NSS in a central sector scheme of Government of India, ministry of youth affairs & sports. It provides opportunity to the student youth of U.G.& amp; P.G. at College to take part in various government led community service activities & programmes. The sole aim of the NSS is to provide hands on experience to young students in delivering community service.

The aim of the regular and special camping programme is to bring youth face with the community and make efforts to improve their life. The NSS volunteers are to devote in regular activities for the development of the adopted slum area/village. The NSS volunteers need to be inspired to take initiatives for the improvement of their condition.

The following activities/programmes may be undertaken.

  • Organizing Blood Donation, Eye Pledge Programmes.
  • Work In Welfare Organization Of Women.
  • Prevention Of Slums Through Social Education And Community Action.
  • Beti Bachao Beti Padhao.
  • Programmes Of Educating People and Making Them Aware Of Women’s Rights.
  • Population Education and Family Welfare Programme.
  • Provision Of Safe and Clean Drinking Water.
  • Programme Of Mass Immunization.
  • Plantation Of Trees.
  • Sawacch Bharat Mission.
  • Digital Awareness.
  • Voter Awareness.
  • Road Safety Campaign.
  • Environmental Rally.
