Abhishek received his Bachelor's degree (Honours in Physics) from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India, in 2007. For a year after this, he attended graduate school at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai. He then moved to Raipur University, for a Master's degree in Physics (2008-2010), obtaining the Gold Medal in Physics for securing first rank in the University. Abhishek has earned his Ph.D. (2018) in Radio Astrophysics from the National Center for Radio Astrophysics, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Pune.
