Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in Botany at DBS College, Kanpur, affiliated to CSJM University, Kanpur, India. His research specialization is wetlands biodiversity and Plant Physiology and developmental biology. He has published several research papers in national and international journals / conference proceedings in India and abroad like USA, Australia, Malaysia, China, Nepal etc., and also attended Millennium Wetland Event 2000, Quebec, Canada. He is a member of the International Association for Ecology, Germany, as well as Ocean future Society, USA. Recently he has received Gratis Award for Society of Wetlands Scientist, USA and has been availing three year's membership of the Society. He is a member of the Editorial board for journal of Plant Science, USA. He has also written number of books published by national and international publishers.
