Biography:
Dr. Rashmi Dubey is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at DBS PG College in Kanpur, UP. She has over 21 years of teaching experience in undergraduate and postgraduate classes. She holds a Ph. D. In English, specialising in the ‘Epistemological Evaluation of T.S. Eliot’s Poetry’. She has conducted postdoctoral research through a minor research project supported by the UGC. She has authored more than 25 research papers published in esteemed journals and books. She has actively participated in over 100 seminars, webinars and conferences presenting scholarly research papers at national and international events. She has also authored 2 books concerning certain parts of the curriculum of MA English according to NEP.

Research Area: The topic of my research is ‘Epistemological Evaluation of TS Eliot’s Poetry’.According to Eliot, a poem has a life of its own and once created it loses its ties with poet and the reader can interpret it arbitrarily.I have tried to apply epistemological cannons in an intellectual form to meet the requirements of our times and culture.I have tried to bridge the gap between the poet and the reader by making the poems of Eliot comprehensible to an Indian reader.
