Dr. Swadesh Kumar Gupta is currently working as Assistant Professor in physics Department at DBS College, Kanpur since November 2019. He did his M.Sc. (Physics) in 2009 and Ph.D. in 2014 from University of Lucknow. He Passed CSIR-UGC NET-JRF examination in June 2009. He was a visiting scholar at HKUST, Hong Kong for more than two years between July 2017-Oct 2019. Before, he worked as principal Investigator of SERB-Project at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi India for a year. His research interest includes liquid crystal material characterization and development of LC based devices. At HKUST, he worked on quantum material for their application in different display devices. He has published more than 50 research articles in reputed international journals, 2 book chapters and participated in several national/international conferences. He has received the KIDS bronze paper award sponsored by LG Display in 2018. He has also been granted two Patents till date.
