Dr. Kalpana Vajpeyi is a post-graduate from Christ Church College, Kanpur and has obtained her PhD from National Sugar Institute as a part of the Fellowship Program by the Ministry of Food and Civil Supplies. During her time at NSI, she worked on various techniques of alcohol improvement and her research has contributed immensely to the functioning of distilleries and the field of bio-diesel production. After this, her sheer interest in teaching and commitment to training young minds led her to pursue a Double M.Sc. from D.A.V. College Kanpur, a post which she joined the college as Assistant Professor in 1997. With more than 24 years of teaching experience and multiple publications in various journals, both national and international, she is also associated with several scientific bodies as an active member. Presently, she is teaching in D.B.S College Kanpur.
